Ok, so you have known about the 2017 NADA Show for quite some time now, yet you find yourself freaking out a day before you leave. No worries, we have all been there. Register to Attend here ! FROM THE OFFICE First and foremost, let's think about what you will need to get from the office. Some things will be accessible via E mail , Google Docs, flash drives, etc.  Create a "Note" on your Cell Phone or go old-school and actually write it out on paper. Business Cards / Marketing Materials Laptop / Charger / Back up Charger? Flash drives - power points, presentations, spreadsheets, etc. Email Response - "I will be out of the office..." Who needs to know where I will be during the show?  Last minute tasks I MUST do before I leave? Miscellaneous - headphones, pens, notebook, books, etc FROM HOME Alright, I have my shoes, my jacket, shirt, and tie are on point, where's my belt? My belt! Son of a  $!+@&!!! For the majority of us, time management is something we all struggle with at some point in our hectic work week. From emails to conference calls, yoga to pilates, there is so much to do with so little time. Don't freak out. Instead of orchestrating your day around your time, let's take this approach more as a focus management challenge. We all do it. One minute we are zoned into the max. Nothing will distract me! The next thing you know, you're two tissues deep on some viral video you swear is the saddest, most inspiring video you have ever seen. How did this happen? I'll tell you how it happened. Focus. Whether waiting in a noisy airport terminal, your friend's stinky backseat, or that over-priced Uber ride, let's try and focus a little bit. Everyone needs more time, right? I disagree. We just need to focus during our time.  How many of you can relate to this? You have had a long day. You finally catch up on everything you need to get done today and ...

Nobody really likes Mondays.  Am I right?  Especially the Monday that falls after a long weekend filled with turkey, football, and finding that unbeatable price on Black Friday, only to see that it is even cheaper on "Cyber Monday."  It's a beautiful thing isn't it?   Now back to reality... Back to emails, meetings, phone calls, and your fellow employee who always has to use the microwave right when you need to.  I don't like Mondays anymore than you do, but that doesn't mean they have to go to waste!  The Monday segment of my blog will focus on the "Must-Do's" to grow your business via Social Media.  So cheer up... snap out of that food coma, and let's make something of our favorite day of the week! Mr. Hundred Dollar Bill himself, Benjamin Franklin, once said, "By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail."  This applies to Social Media, especially Social Media Marketing, in many ways.
